A new way of urban living
Willa is a multiplex designed under Vancouver R1-1 Guidelines. The projects reimagines urban living through a sensitive and compact design, offering five thoughtfully crafted “city homes” nestled into the fabric of single family neighborhood. Willa reflects DAE’s creative approach to density—intimate, livable, and light-filled, proving that more homes can still feel like home.
Balance between Private and Outdoor Space
Each unit is designed with generous outdoor space , balconies, decks, and patios that extend the living experience beyond the walls and encourage gathering, light, and connection. The goal is to give residents the feeling of living in a standalone house—even if they’re not.
At its heart, the courtyard functions as both a spatial buffer and a quiet meeting place. It softens boundaries between homes and creates a subtle sense of community.
