A new way of urban living
Willa is a multiplex designed under Vancouver R1-1 Guidelines. The projects reimagines urban living through a sensitive and compact design, offering five thoughtfully crafted “city homes” nestled into the fabric of single family neighborhood. Willa reflects DAE’s creative approach to density—intimate, livable, and light-filled, proving that more homes can still feel like home.
Balance between Private and Outdoor Space
Each unit is designed with generous outdoor space—balconies, decks, and patios that extend the living experience beyond the walls and encourage gathering, light, and connection. The goal is to give residents the feeling of living in a standalone house—even if they’re not.
At its heart, the courtyard functions as both a spatial buffer and a quiet meeting place. It softens boundaries between homes and creates a subtle sense of community.
